Youth Basketball League update as of November 29, 2019
Due to registration numbers, adjustments have been made to the Youth Basketball League that will begin the week of December 9, 2019. The league will run as planned for 10 to 14 year olds. Practices will take place on Monday and Tuesday evenings at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Elementary School, and games will be scheduled on Saturday mornings. Registered players will be contacted regarding their practice and game times and coach. The YMCA will be offering weekly basketball skills clinics for 8 to 9 and 15 to 18 year olds. Skills clinics will run for one hour on Saturdays for 9 weeks. For more information about skills clinics please contact the Fort Erie E.J. Freeland YMCA or email [email protected]. We appreciate the patience of those registered while we work through the options. We will continue to accept registrations until December 6 for the options described above.

| Where do we play: | Practices take place at local Fort Erie and Ridgeway schools Monday to Thursday nights, with games running on Saturdays at the Fort Erie EJ Freeland YMCA. | |

| Once registration closes, the league team leader and coaches will contact parents to communicate when practices and games will begin. The game schedules will be distributed during the first week of practices. | ||
| Regular seasons run for 9 weeks, followed by a season ending tournament. As part of the registration fee each player will receive a Youth Sports League t-shirt. | ||

A Note To Parents: Cancellations made in person or writing 2 weeks or more before the registration deadline will be given a refund minus a $10 administrative fee. Refunds will not be granted for cancellations less than two weeks from the registration deadline.
