Youth Action is made up of two different components and are offered throughout the region: School Programs and Friday Night Drop-ins. Programs provide youth with the opportunity to develop assets that will help them become healthy adults, and give them the foundation to make positive life choices

Youth Action is made possible through support from the United Way of St.Catharines and District, YMCA Strong Kids, Canadian Tire Jumpstart, Ontario Power, Port Colborne Hydro, and other donors. IMPORTANT UPDATE: YMCA Youth Action Friday Night Drop-ins will not be offered starting October 4th, 2019 at the Niagara West YMCA and Port Colborne YMCA. See here for more information.  The YMCA will be introducing two new community programs, YMCA Beyond the Bell™ and Jumpstart Play in Fall 2019. YMCA Youth Action Dances will not be offered during the 2019-2020 school year due to declining interest from youth over the past few years. See here for more information.
