Child and Youth Programs
YMCA Specialty Programs, Drop-In, and more
At the YMCA, we believe in the limitless potential of every young person. Our Child and Youth Programs give children and youth ages 3–15 opportunities to try new things, build skills, get active, and connect with others in a welcoming and supportive environment.
From registered specialty programs, to swim lessons, to drop-in activities, programs are designed to help children and youth:
- Build confidence and develop new skills
- Get active while discovering activities they enjoy
- Develop movement and physical literacy skills
- Make friends and build positive connections
- Learn and grow alongside supportive YMCA staff and volunteers
- Have fun, explore their interests, and find a place to belong

Financial Assistance
We want every child and youth to have opportunities to build skills, make connections, and find a place to belong at the YMCA.
If cost is a barrier for your child or teen to participate, financial assistance may be available through the YMCA or one of our community partners. Answer a few quick questions and we’ll help guide you toward the support that may be right for your family.
