Help the YMCA support the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation
As an organization that serves children and adolescents in Niagara Region, the YMCA would like to invite YMCA members, participants, partners, staff, volunteers, and supporters to stand up and show our community that #EveryChildMatters
What we are doing
The YMCA of Niagara will be selling orange shirts as part of a national fundraising effort in support of the Orange Shirt Society and National Day for Truth and Reconciliation 2021.

How you can help
YMCA Orange t-shirts in adult unisex sizes are available for $20.00 +HST.
Profits from the sale will be given to the Orange Shirt Day Society as a donation in support of the organization.

Orange t-shirts are available for purchase until September 22 (and until inventory lasts).
Curbside pick-up:
September 24-25 in St. Catharines, Grimsby and Welland. We will share information about pick-up locations (and hours) after purchase.
About Orange Shirt Society
The Orange Shirt Society is a non-profit organization with its home in Williams Lake, BC where Orange Shirt Day began in 2013. The purposes of the Society are as follows:
- Support Indian Residential School Reconciliation
- Create awareness of the individual, family, and community inter-generational impacts of Indian Residential Schools through Orange Shirt Society activities
- Create awareness of the concept of “Every Child Matters”
YMCA Canada is pleased to work in cooperation with the Orange Shirt Society. The Society is the official organization behind Orange Shirt Day, an annual awareness-raising event founded by Phyllis Webstad , which takes place on September 30.
