The EarlyON Child and Family Centre team is excited to offer in-person outdoor programming. Our EarlyON programs and services are in alignment with provincial guidelines and local directives to promote a positive, meaningful, fun and safe outdoor experience for our families and our team.
About Outdoor Programs
- Fun, free programs for parents/guardians/caregivers and their children (ages 0-6 years)
- Location: For information on our outdoor programs and locations, please see our newsletter.
- Weather: Outdoor programs will operate rain, snow or shine, if possible. Parents/Guardians are requested to dress children appropriately for the weather, including sunscreen.
- Each centre has a limited number of rainsuits for your child to borrow during your visit to our outdoor program. These are available on a first come, first served basis.
Safety Measures
- Health screening: Participants are required to self-screen prior to attending the centre and stay home if unwell
- Cleaning and disinfection: Toys and shared equipment are cleaned and disinfected according to our rigorous sanitary policies.
What our EarlyON professionals ensure:
Our early learning educators prepare the outdoor environment and plan age appropriate physical activities with materials that encourage curiosity, exploration, experimentation, social interaction, and learning through play. Our staff will facilitate activities for you and your child to enjoy together such as stories, music, movement activities, games, scavenger hunts, obstacle courses, art and more.
