The YMCA of Niagara provides licensed child care for children (3.8 – 5 years).  These fun and educational programs are held at several locations within Niagara.

This program is designed specifically for our junior and senior kindergarten children.  Our kinder program offers 1 weeks of licensed winter break fun that includes games, indoor and outdoor programs, nutritious snacks and more.  YMCA Licensed Kinder program will keep your child active and happy this winter break while helping them grow and learn.

Kinder Care activities will take place both outdoors and indoors allowing children to participate in a variety of activities.

Registration and Cancellation

  • Cancellation of your child’s registration must be made by email to the centre, a minimum of two (2) weeks prior of the program start date.

Schedule and Fees

  • Dates:

    Week 1 – December 23, 24 & 27

    Week 2 – December 30 & 31 and January 2 & 3

  • Times: Programs operate from 7AM to 6PM

  • Fee*:

    Week 1 – $54.93

    Week 2 – $73.24

    *Daily rate is $18.31. (Daily Fee is $38.76; CWELCC Discount applied)

All YMCA Child Care programs are licensed under the Child Care and Early Years Act with regular evaluation to ensure quality in Child Care practices. They are also inspected annually to confirm compliance by Ministry standard.
