Creative Bug offers a variety of arts-based; team building, leadership and community development programs for artists of all ages and abilities. For at Creative Bug we believe that everyone is an artist.

Weeks 2-9

Weeks 2, 6: Rainbow Remix

Get ready for a full-on colour explosion! This week is all about mixing, blending and creating with every shade of the rainbow. Artists will sculpt a whimsical rainbow fish pinch pot, experiment with stained-glass effects using oil pastels, splash into rainbow-inspired paintings with acrylics and watercolours, and layer up bright, bold collages with tissue paper. It’s messy, magical and packed with colour!

Weeks 3, 7: Space Week

3…2…1… BLAST OFF into a week of out-of-this-world creativity! Young artists will swirl galaxies with watercolours, design their own space robots, paint cosmic landscapes with acrylics, and sculpt creations that look like they came from another planet. Get ready for a week filled with imagination, discovery and intergalactic fun!

Weeks 4, 8: SMASH Art Lab

This is where creativity goes BIG! SMASH Art Week is all about exploring, experimenting and trying a little bit of everything. From bold acrylic paintings to soft watercolour blends, from clay creations to oil pastel magic—plus sketching, colouring and more—artists will dive into a mix of our absolute favourite mediums. It’s the ultimate art adventure for curious creators who love to try it all!

Weeks 5, 9: Wild at the Zoo

Roar into a week of animal-inspired art! From fierce lions to cool cheetahs and cuddly bears, artists will explore the wild world of the zoo through painting, sculpting and sketching. Using watercolours, acrylics, clay, markers and more, we’ll bring our favourite animals to life in bold, creative ways. Get ready for a wildly fun week of art!

Weeks 2, 6: Sketchbook Adventures

If your pencil never stops moving, this week is for you! Dive into a world of doodles, sketches and creative mark-making as we fill our pages with imagination. Artists will experiment with pencil techniques, add splashes of watercolour, create playful prints, and discover texture through fun rubbings. Expect sketchbook chaos (the good kind!) and tons of creative exploration as we doodle our way through the week!

Weeks 3, 7: Paint Week

Calling all paint lovers! This week is a full-on celebration of colour, brushstrokes and creative expression. Artists will explore fun techniques with acrylics and watercolours, try new styles, and build confidence with every brushstroke. To wrap it all up, each artist will dream up and paint their very own masterpiece on canvas—ready to hang and show off!

Weeks 4, 8: SMASH Art Week

Get ready to mix it, squish it, paint it and create it! SMASH Art Week is all about trying a little bit of everything. From vibrant paints and pastels, to clay creations and bold marker designs—this week is packed with creative fun. Perfect for artists who love variety and are excited to try new things!

Weeks 5, 9: Enchanted Forest Walk

Step into a world of magical whimsy! This week, artists will walk through an enchanted forest bringing mystic flora and creatures to life. We’ll paint trolls, design and sculpt fairy doors from clay, and turn our art into magical stories.
