Things to Remember When You Arrive

We want you to be able to jump right into Youth Action, so please keep the following points in mind when you arrive at the program site.

Youth Action programs at EI McCulley and Plymouth can welcome up to 30 participants, while Diamond Trail has space for 20. Registration is free—reserve your spot today to make the most of each session!

Our top priority is to ensure that everyone who attends is safe and has fun so the Youth Action sites at the Diamond Trail, Plymouth and E.I.McCulley locations require registration in advance to participate.  The maximum number of participants is different at these locations, so please make note when you visit the registration page. Registration is free and can be quickly completed by clicking here but it must be completed no later than 30 minutes prior to the start of the program. Registration will not be available at the door at these locations so make sure to secure your spot early, as we expect these location to reach capacity quickly

Participants are asked to bring a refillable water bottle. Washrooms are available for participants to use one at a time. You’re going to be active so make sure that you have comfortable clothing and the proper footwear. Participants who attend the same school as a Youth Action program site will not be able to move through the school in order to obtain items (such as indoor footwear) from their locker, so please ensure that you come to the program with what you need.

All Youth Action participants must complete a registration form on their first visit to a program site. This information helps keep our participants safe, and it will be used to maintain accurate attendance records.

We ask that the information provided on the registration form be accurate and up-to-date. In an effort to keep all participants safe, the information we receive will be verified for accuracy. Participants who knowingly provide inaccurate or false information may be asked to leave the program as a result.

Encouraging Responsible Behaviour

YMCA Youth Action evening programs have been designed to promote fun, physical activity, creativity, and safety.

We have planned engaging activities to meet the interests of those attending, and all participants will be asked to conduct themselves in a manner that is appropriate for a YMCA program and is in line with the YMCA values of:

The YMCA reserves the right to deny entry or remove someone from a program as a result of their behaviour.
