To assist families during school board rotating one-day strikes, YMCA Day Camp is pleased to be offering a strike day camp program for children aged 5 to 12.
Details
- Strike Day Camp will be offered out of the Walker Family YMCA in St.Catharines with limited spaces available.
- Camp will run from 8:30am to 4:30pm with extended care available from 7:30am until 6:00pm for an additional fee.
- The cost of camp is $36 per child. Campers should bring their own lunch, snacks and water bottle.
- Camp will run at a 1 to 10 ratio. We are not able to offer Helping Hands or smaller ratios due to staffing limitations.
- Limited spaces are available. Minimum registration of 6 campers must be met by 3pm the day prior in order for camp to run.
- Campers 7 and older will participate in swimming when available based on pool schedule.
- Camp will not run if an agreement is met and schools are not on strike.
- Current Licensed YMCA Child Care families are asked to speak to their YMCA Child Care Centre related to strike care options.
- Camp fees must be paid in full at the point of registration by Visa, Mastercard, Visa or Mastercard Debit, or Pre-paid Visa or Mastercard.
