Birthday Parties

Choose from a Jump & Play (ages 3-5) party, which includes gym time with a bouncy castle and time in a party room, or a Jump & Splash (ages 5+) party, which includes gym time, pool time, and a party room for celebrating with family and friends.

Birthday parties are offered on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Available times vary by branch and party type and can be viewed during online registration.

If you don’t see the date you’re looking for, it may not be available yet. Party dates are released throughout the year, typically 1 to 3 months in advance. We recommend checking back regularly, as we are unable to hold dates or maintain a waitlist.

Jump & Play parties are designed for up to 20 children.

Jump & Splash parties include up to 15 children, with additional spaces available (up to 25 children total) depending on lifeguard availability. Swim admission criteria will apply.

Additional fees apply for extra guests.

The YMCA Birthday Party Host is there to help facilitate activities but does not provide direct supervision.

The number of adults is not limited. Tables and chairs are not provided for all adults. All guests must sign in when entering the centre.

YMCA Birthday Parties are recommended for children ages 3 to 12.

Children must be at least 36 inches tall to use the bouncy castle. Jump & Play parties are often a great fit for younger children, while Jump & Splash parties are generally best suited for children ages 5 and up.

Every party includes access to a party room, gym equipment, a YMCA Birthday Party Host, and either gym time or gym and pool time depending on your party package.

You’re welcome to bring your own food, cake, decorations, plates, and utensils. Food delivery is also permitted. The YMCA does not provide a fridge for storage.

The party room is available for setup up to 30 minutes before your party begins. Party rooms are assigned based on availability at your YMCA branch and may vary from one party to another.

To help us keep our spaces clean and welcoming, please use sticky tack instead of tape and avoid confetti.

Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising children throughout the party. The YMCA Birthday Party Host is there to help facilitate activities but does not provide direct supervision.

For Jump & Splash parties, YMCA swim admission policies apply, including age-based supervision requirements and swim tests for children under 10.

All guests must also sign in when entering the centre.

Parties can be booked online, and full payment is required at the time of booking. Registration closes 7 days before the party date.

A member of our team will contact you during the week of your party to confirm details and answer any last-minute questions.

Cancel 14 or more days before your party for a full refund.

Cancellations made within 14 days of the party date are eligible for a refund less a $70.00 administrative fee.

Refunds are not available within 7 days of the party date.
