For over 160 years the YMCA of Niagara has been responding to evolving community need. The YMCA Stronger Together Annual Support Campaign raises funds to ensure that all children, youth and their families have the opportunity to participate in proven YMCA Programs.
During these times of continual change and uncertainty, children and their families rely on the work we do. Now, more than ever, our community and families need our help. At the YMCA we are committed to finding solutions to meet community need with a focus on ensuring children and youth continue to build resilience and reach their full potential. The YMCA of Niagara continues to grow and adapt to the changing times, creating unique opportunities to allow us to support our community in new ways.

Guided by the social determinants of health the YMCA of Niagara provides the necessary programs, services, and safe spaces in our centres of community to ensure individuals are better connected and build the skills needed to succeed in work and life.

DAY CAMP
At YMCA Day Camp, we are committed to providing all children with the opportunity to participate in a variety of fun, engaging and age-appropriate activities that encourage personal growth and skill development. We believe in the limitless potential of every young person and understand the impact of recreational and social experiences, physical activity, and positive environments.
A key element of Day Camp programs is character development, and we celebrate positive actions. Donor support enables all children to have the opportunity to form friendships and make lasting memories at YMCA Day Camp.
YOUTH ACTION
Youth Action provides spaces for youth from the ages of 10 to 14 years to hang out, catch up with friends, participate in games, be physically active and meet role models. Programs provide youth with the opportunity to develop assets that will help them become healthy adults and give them the foundation to make positive life choices.
These programs are located in neighbourhood schools and offered free to participants thanks to our generous funders, partners and donors.

The Stronger Together Community Campaign is dedicated to building a community based on collaboration and compassion. We aim to empower individuals to serve their community and encourage a philanthropic mindset. Our mission extends beyond immediate assistance, striving for a sustainable and vibrant future.
