Red Cross Babysitting Course
This course provides young people with the necessary skills and knowledge to be help them learn child care, injury prevention and basic first aid skills.
At the end of this course, participants will understand; business of babysitting; caring for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children; creating safe environments; and how to handle emergencies and first aid. Participants must be 11 years of age or older.This is a 8-hour course, with a lunch break. 100% attendance is required.
Home Alone Course
This course provides young people with the necessary skills and knowledge to be safe and responsible when home alone.
At the end of this course, participants will be able to: demonstrate what to do in case of an emergency; how and when to call 911; demonstrate through role play how to call 911; demonstrate basic first aid skills. Participants must be 10 years of age or older. This is a 2-hour course. 100% attendance is required.
