YMCA Aquatic Leadership ProgramSept to JuneTuesday6:05 – 7:05 pm

Open the door to employment and volunteer possibilities through our YMCA Aquatic Certifications programs. Certification as a lifeguard or swimming instructor can lead to employment opportunities at the YMCA and elsewhere.

Find out about the Making Waves Swimming and Leadership Bursary which covers 90% of the cost to take the qualification courses to become a lifeguard. Click here to apply or to learn more.

* Standard First Aid courses are done through the Lifesaving Society.  As per WSIB regulations, you must recertify with your original certifying agency (Example original course with LSS – the recertification must be with the LSS).  Standard First Aid certification must also alternate between full course and recertification course.
