The Niagara Centre YMCA branch is a place for people of all ages to become involved in wellness, fitness, recreational, leadership and social programs. The YMCA is a 55,000 sq. ft. facility which serves over 7,000 members plus thousands of Welland/Pelham residents in community programs. The state-of-the-art facility features:

The Niagara Centre YMCA is located at 310 Woodlawn Road on the campus of Niagara College, just minutes from either downtown Welland or Pelham. This development is a result of a strong working partnership between the City of Welland, Niagara College, the Town of Pelham and the YMCA. Hours

The Niagara Centre Branch of the YMCA of Niagara in Welland will be open the following hours for your convenience. Please note that on holidays, program schedules may be reduced.

Regular Building Hours
Monday - Friday 5:30am - 10:30pm
Saturday 7:00am - 8:00pm
Sunday/Holidays 7:00am - 6:00pm (Except Christmas Day)

Note: Prices quoted above do not include GST *Child category exempt for GST A photo id/proof of age is required when purchasing a membership First month will be prorated to reflect start date.
Family applies to a maximum of two adult spouses living at the same address.
Family with children option applies to a maximum of two adult spouses and any number of dependent children up to age 24 living at the same address.
Young Adults with a valid student card may arrange 4 or 8 month memberships. All other memberships are annual.
Building Fee is used to maintain YMCA facilities and equipment through capital improvements. Adult and Membership Plus members will be required to pay a Building Fee. Only one Building Fee is paid per family living at the same address. The Building Fee is non-refundable and must be paid at time of registration or over a maximum of 3 months. $100 per adult general/family + GST (all branches) $125 per Membership Plus/family + GST (Niagara Centre & Niagara Falls) $150 per Membership Plus/family + GST (St. Catharines)

Regional Membership

YMCA of Niagara members have the opportunity to participate at branches other than their home Membership Centre. Young adults and adults will have unlimited General Membership access at all Niagara region YMCAs. Child/Youth members have program privileges in their home YMCA and unlimited open/family swim access at all other branches. Unlimited Membership Plus access is granted to those who pay the Regional Fee. Otherwise, Niagara Falls and Niagara Centre Membership Plus members may access St. Catharines twice per month and have unlimited use of the general change room.

Payment Options

You may pay for your annual membership in full by cash, cheque, Interac, MasterCard and Visa, or by installment through our convenient Pre-authorized Payment Plan.

Pre-Authorized Payment

You may find it most convenient to use our Pre-authorized Payment Plan. All monthly memberships on a pre-authorized plan will be continuous. The YMCA requires 10 days' written notice to cancel.
